M8 issue with HDMI on Samsung TV

good evening, I hope someone can help me with the issue I'm having on my M8 android tv box using a samsung tv. Whenever I run xbmc the hdmi connection between the tv and the box is lost after about 20-30. This only happens when I am running xbmc not when running say showbox or streaming a film...
